Flow State Series

This is my second longest running body of work and one of my deepest personal inquiries. It started as a reflection of the felt experience of moving quickly in a state of flow through nature, immersed in beauty, completely present, aware of everything yet nothing in particular. Over time it has evolved into a visual symbolic inquiry with the organic shapes that have emerged through this process. I’ve been painting and drawing in this series since 2015, working with acrylic on canvas and mixed media on paper.
