Circular Abstract Series

This is the series that launched my journey into abstraction. I held a feeling, a love, a dedication so deeply that it needed its own visual language. Riding bikes is one of my greatest loves in life. As a young adult, it gave me joy, freedom, and identity. Every part of me grew and expanded, and I learned how to enter the state of flow. Cycling gave me direct communion with nature, friendship, my life partner, and this art series. To this day, it continues to feed my inherent need for solitude and adventure. This series began as oil on canvas and transitioned to acrylic. I’ve included some of my studies here as well.
